We had Internet and Cell phone service issues this last week so here is an overview of the whole week

Last Saturday we got ready to do and orientation with a few Stake Leaders preparing for their treks.  Removing the leaves from the pavilion is one of the preparatory tasks.  I'm pretty sure these leaves have been blown out and found their way back in several times by the looks of them, soooo I swept them up and threw them away this time:) Why aren't pesky weaknesses as easy to dispose of?

He didn't want to give up the burnt shirt - so he created a new look - he looks pretty happy with himself.

It was a great Mother's Day weekend!!!   Some of the wonderful gifts that could be photographed from my awesome family:)

The more I tried to straighten these letters the worse they looked sooooooooooooooo done is good:)

Ere you question if we are really on a mission and not just camping out in this beautiful campground,  here are some pictures to prove that we are serving in this wonderfully inspiring place.

The first load of handcarts brought to camp.

The storage shed is about 10 miles away and the trailer only holds about 10-12 carts so many trips will be made to get them all brought to the trail head.

They start their trek adventure in Iowa City.

Bringing up the rear on our way to Iowa City

The handcarts will be lined up on the left of this road way for the families to load and start their trek :)
We are headed out on the trail to pick up all the poles that hold the signs and mark the trail.  During the winter cows are kept here and they love to scratch on the poles until they are uprooted and fall over.  We are having an especially wet spring so the grasses are unusually high.
