Friday July 29th 

Since the days are really hot this week we are getting up early and doing our work while it's in the cool 80's Then hibernating in the trailers.  Yesterday we had homemade ice cream thanks to Sister Manning:)  

This weeks work is weed identification and extermination of Tribulus terrestris aka the plant that grows goat heads.  Spraying weed killer is going to the top of the list of most important tasks to get done!

In the following picture Elder Pilling has found one trying to hide under the not quite as obnoxious  tumble weed.  Don't be fooled by the beauty of this fern like plant with cute little yellow blooms! It is not a plant to be enjoyed!
